Stracimir Petkov, Mayor of the Lovech Municipality handed over the budgets for 2024 to the directors and managers of the nurseries, the children’s kitchen, preventive information center and social services in the Lovech Municipality.
For comparison, the initial budget plan for the two functions for last year 2023 was BGN 12,796,354, the increase being BGN 5,288,314 or 41.33%.
A total of BGN 4,221,169 has been earmarked in the “Healthcare” function in the initial budget for 2024. According to the standard for state delegated activity, BGN 3,989,169. The provided funds from the budget of the Municipality of Lovech are BGN 232,000, of which BGN 220,000 for supporting the children’s food allowance in a children’s kitchen. BGN 137,436 is provided for capital expenditures from state activity.
BGN 13,863,499 has been earmarked in the initial budget for 2024 for the function “Social security, support and care” (SOPG). Of this, BGN 12,655,799 has been earmarked for state-delegated activity, BGN 1,207,700 for local activity. 321,437 BGN state activities and 6,500 BGN local activities are planned for capital expenses.
A total of 300 employees are engaged in the activities of the two functions “Health” and SOPH at the Municipality of Lovech, of which 96 are in the “Health” function and 204 in the SOPH function.
