The Deputy Regional Governor Neli Chitinova visited 9th grade students of “Todor Kirkov” Secondary School in Lovech.

This meeting was held within the framework of the initiative to mark 25 years of the decree on the establishment of 28 regional administrations issued in 1999.

During her visit, Neli Chitinova started with introductory words, in which she greeted the students and introduced herself, as well as her position as deputy regional governor. She shared briefly about her experience and commitment in the district administration.

Presentation of the work of the regional administration
After Neli Chitinova’s presentation, the floor was taken by Neli Miteva, Director of the Directorate for Administrative Control, Regional Development and State Property (AKRDS), and Violeta Nikolova, senior expert in the same Directorate. They revealed to the students in more detail about the functions, commitments, responsibilities and structure of the district administration.

A presentation was given to the students in which the main functions of the district administration were presented. It explained key aspects of the institution’s work, as well as its organization and goals.

This visit was an opportunity for the students to become more familiar with the work of the district administration and to understand its role in the management of public affairs in the region.
