A jeep hit a parked car in the parking lot in front of a restaurant in the center of Plovdiv and hit a woman who was trapped, reports Nova TV.
The incident happened over the weekend. According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the jeep was very drunk and refused to be tested for drug use and to give blood for chemical analysis. It was tested with a breathalyzer, who reported 3.31 parts per million of alcohol. Turns out he’s a famous rocker. The injured woman was admitted to the “Neurosurgery” clinic at “St. George” UMBAL in Plovdiv. “My mother underwent surgery. According to the doctors, the intervention was successful and her condition is currently stable. She has a broken vertebra, injuries to her shoulder girdle, arm, injuries to her abdomen and lower back and pelvis, as well as a chest injury. According to the medics, this is a moderate injury. Today we have a meeting with a forensic doctor who will describe her injuries,” said the victim’s son Gabriel Karashliev, who was also present at the incident.
His family celebrated the baptism of their son Karashliev. “We were a lot of people. There were also a lot of children at the celebration. After the celebration, my mother was standing at the back door of our car and was changing her shoes. At that moment, the driver backed up with dirty gas and pressed her against the door, from which are also her injuries,” he declared. According to him, the driver was pulled out of the car. He was visibly intoxicated. He was tested on the spot and the breathalyzer reported 3.31 parts per million of alcohol. “I have never seen the driver,” said Gabriel Karashliev.
