Poligraff.NET – Tomorrow we celebrate the birthday of the unforgettable Petya Dubarova

There are several iconic names that everyone associates with Burgas, as well as Burgas with them. Petya Dubarova has her reserved place in this pantheon.

Tomorrow, April 25, marks the 62nd anniversary of the birth of the sunny girl of Burgas. On that day, the students from SU “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” traditionally offer their “Flowers for Petya” at her monument in the Sea Garden.

The holiday will be celebrated with flowers and a recital by students from the Geo Milev English Language High School, where the poetess studied. A celebration in front of Petya Dubarova’s monument will be organized by the Municipality tomorrow, from 12:30 p.m. On the birthday of the beloved poetess, the house-museum bearing her name announces an Open Day. Everyone is welcome!

An invariable part of the cultural program of the Municipality of Burgas, dedicated to Petya’s birthday, is the national youth literary competition “Petya Dubarova”.

This year, the prize-giving ceremony will take place on May 10 (Friday), in the “Sea Casino” CC. The final part of the competition is one of the long-awaited events for Bulgarian artists from 14 to 19 years of age.
