Here is Bulgaria’s line-up for the Volleyball Nations League

The Italian coach of the men’s national team of Bulgaria Gianlorenzo Blengini has announced the Bulgaria squad for the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in 2024.

The coach of the state team chose 30 volleyball players, most of whom, as expected, got into the selection.

It is noteworthy that only two diagonals of the distributor were selected – Dimitar Dimitrov (Montpellier, France) and Venislav Antov from Levski Sofia.

Among the invited welcome players, there are many players who can also play as diagonals, such as Asparuh Asparuhov, Denis Karyagin, Samuil Valchinov and Georgi Tatarov.

According to the initial program, the first training camp of the Bulgarian national team is scheduled to begin on May 2 in Sofia and will be personally led by Gianlorenzo Blendgini.

Bulgaria started its participation in the VNL on May 21 at the tournament in Antalya (Turkey) with a match against the Olympic champions from Tokyo 2020 – France.

On May 24, Bulgaria meets Canada, and on May 25, the USA.

On May 26, Gianlorenzo Blengini’s alumni will face the Netherlands.
