Waterworks Vratsa reported its activities for the year 2023: Konkurent.bg

ViK Vratsa reported its activities for the past year 2023 at the general meeting of partners held yesterday, April 23. Last year was one of the most successful years for the company since its establishment, Vratsa Waterworks commented. During the year, with its own funds, under the operating program “Environment” and the State Fund for Agriculture, the company replaced 118.7 km of water pipes, built a sewage network with a total length of 22.9 km, repaired two of the treatment plants.
The own funds invested during the year for the rehabilitation of water supply systems and the reduction of water losses, as well as for the construction of sewage systems, amount to BGN 15,999,436. In addition, during the year, BGN 55,532,114 were fully paid under the operational program “Environment ” and BGN 5,776,883 under the project “Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the water supply network of Malorad village, Borovan municipality and Lipnitsa village, Mizia municipality”. The investments made significantly exceed the mandatory volume of annual investments that Vratsa Waterworks must make according to the signed Agreement with the Vratsa Water Supply and Sewerage Association.
The manager of the company, Angel Prestojski, emphasized that in the current year, the Vratsa Waterworks continues to fulfill its priorities for improving the quality and efficiency of the services offered by the company.
