Last hours until the deadline for registration of parties and coalitions for the elections on June 9. On the last possible day, documents were submitted by GERB-SDS and PP-DB. According to GERB-SDS, the next government should be made up of bright political figures, and not of people from the shadows.
In these elections, the “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria” coalition will have a reduced composition. A week ago, the “Green Movement” party separated from “Democratic Bulgaria”, and yesterday the “Middle European Class” party did the same.
As a motive, both political forces indicated the joint work of PP-DB and GERB in the management of the state, with which they do not agree.
“We will neither give up, nor surrender, nor give the country is run by Peevski and cops from unreformed services. We will continue to fight until the dream of a normal European state is achieved,” said PP-DB co-chairman Kiril Petkov.
“On the first day after the elections, I will tell you who we would govern with. The most important thing is that Bulgaria has a normal government, enough experiments – rotation is exotic,” said Tomislav Donchev from GERB.
There are already 16 parties and 10 coalitions registered for the two-in-one vote. From tomorrow, the Central Electoral Commission will also accept documents from independent candidates for the European elections. The sections in the country will be 11,800, and Bulgarians abroad can vote in nearly 800 sections in 60 countries.
