Children from “Sinchets” made fun of the Regional Administration in Ruse

--

With baskets in their hands and decorated with colorful wreaths and wristbands, twelve girls from Sinchets Kindergarten visited the Regional Administration in Ruse. With Lazarus songs and dances, they brought a spring mood to the institution on the eve of Lazarus Day, which marks the beginning of the Bright Easter holidays.

Little lazarkas blessed for health, fertility and luck. On the spot in the administration, they were met by regional governor Danail Kovachev, his deputy Georgi Georgiev and chief secretary Irena Todorova.

In his role as a symbolic host, Kovachev thanked the little girls and their teachers for preserving and passing on Bulgarian traditions and customs. As a good “master of the house” he treated the guests with delicacies. Kovachev also pointed out that the children’s performance was truly touching. The district governor wished the lazarkas to be healthy, to enjoy the games and that the spring would bring them a lot of fun.

During their visit to the Regional Administration, the children were accompanied by the director of the kindergarten Desislava Yordanova, as well as by the teachers Maria Plachkova, Irena Krasteva and Maya Petrova.
