The number of unemployed men in Haskovsko is increasing in March

800 are the newly registered unemployed in Haskovo region in March. The largest number of those exempted from the “Services” sector – 348 people or 43.5%. There are 263 or 32.9% from the “Industry” sector, and 33 or 4.1% from the agricultural sector. The unemployed, who did not specify the branch from which they were released from work during the month, are 156 or 19.5%.

During the month, 3,171 women or 57% and 2,402 men or 43% were registered in the labor offices of Haskovo region. The number of women decreased compared to the previous month by 32, and the number of men increased by 30 people.

The distribution of unemployed persons by age is characterized by an increase in the share of individual groups with increasing age. The largest share are those over 55. – 29.6% or 1,650 people and from 50 up to 54 – 14.0% or 782 people. Young people up to 19 years of age have the lowest relative share. – 0.7% or 40 people.

The unemployed over 50 are 2,432 – 43.6% of the total registered. In the month of March, young people up to 29 are 623, and their share is 11.2% of all. They decreased by 25 persons compared to the previous month (648).

There are 1,090 long-term unemployed with a stay at the labor office for more than 1 year in the Haskovo Region and they make up 19.6% of all registered. Compared to the previous month, their number increased by 18 people – 1,072.

There are 515 people with higher education (relative share 9.2%) and compared to the previous month they decreased by 14. With secondary education, incl. the professional average is 39.6% or 2,209. Compared to the previous month, they decreased by six. The unemployed with primary and lower education are 2,849 people or 51.1%, compared to February, they increased by 18.

18.8% or 1,050 are workers, 20.2% or 1,124 are specialists, and 61.0% or 3,399 do not have a specialty or profession. There are 28 people registered outside the group of unemployed persons – employed, students and pensioners 15 of these groups started work during the month.
