The “Albenkites” won awards from an international festival

The girls from the representative dance troupe “Albena” made their debut with their leader Viktoria Mihailova at the 19th International Dance Festival “Magical World” in Haskovo. The competition, which is one of the largest dance competitions in the country, was held from April 19 to 21 with the participation of over 300 elite dance clubs and 2,000 participants.

The “Albenkite” performed in the dance show, lyrical and musical categories with two age groups.

A prestigious international jury awarded Viktoria Mihailova’s choreography and the performance of her graduates with first place for the dance “A Warm Afternoon in Rome” (musical) for the age group up to 11 years; First place for the dance ‘Breathe Deep’ (disco, pop and dance) and two second places for the dances ‘Midnight Fun’ (Bollywood) and ‘Airport Trouble’ (show dance) for the 12-19 age group.

“We are extremely happy, we continue to work hard and we are glad that we were able to properly present the city of Pazardzhik. We thank all the talented children, for the support of the parents and the Youth Home! Aiming forward, we hope to please everyone with new achievements,” says the leader of the team Viktoria Mihailova

The Magical World Competition, Haskovo is recognized by the World Artistic Dance Federation (WADF) and offers scholarships for professional development. Its scale is really huge, and it takes place on two stages at the same time from morning to evening, judged by a foreign and Bulgarian jury.
