An office for free consultations of couples with reproductive problems was opened in G. Oryahovitsa

An office for free consultations for couples with reproductive problems will be officially opened on Tuesday, April 30, at 12:00 p.m. in the Upper Oryahiv Hospital “St. Ivan Rilski”.
It will start functioning from May, thanks to the joint efforts of the Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa, the municipal hospital and the “I Want a Baby” foundation.
Couples with reproductive issues from the region will have real access to assisted reproduction specialists, with doctors from across the country coming on site for free consultations and treatment plans.
The mayor Nikolay Rashkov, the director of the “St. Ivan Rilski” Dr. Ivan Ivanov and the founder of the “I want a baby” foundation Radina Velcheva will officially open the office.
The event will be attended by the deputy mayors of the Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa, the coordinator of the project at the “I want a baby” foundation Maria Musova, specialists in AG and reproductive medicine from Gorna Oryahovitsa, Veliko Tarnovo and Sofia.
With the opening of the Office for Reproductive Health, the leadership of the Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa, together with “I Want a Baby”, have set themselves another long-term task – to turn this into a meeting place with specialists on the topics of prevention of sexual and reproductive health of young people .
The first such cabinet was opened by the “I Want a Baby” Foundation in 2019, with the support of the Municipality of Vratsa, with the initiative also being taken up by the Municipalities of Pernik and Gotse Delchev. The purpose of these offices is for couples with reproductive problems living in smaller settlements to receive timely help from assisted reproduction professionals.
