The brothers Momchil and Dobromir Zhelevi brought success to Yambol in chess

Momchil and Dobromir Zhelevi brought home a cup, a gold and two silver medals after their participation in the “Marinopoltsi” open tournaments. The competitions brought together 120 competitors, including international and FIDE masters.

Momchil Zhelev overcame the competition in his age group after a strong final storm and won a special cup as well as first place in the under-14s.

His brother Dobromir Zhelev managed to fight for second place in the “B” tournament and finished second in the under-13s, which earned him two silver medals.

Brothers Momchil and Dobromir Zhelevi are graduates of the Yambol chess school, have been practicing chess for 3 years, constantly improving their skills. They are ambitious to achieve success, they know how to apply the knowledge they have learned and from almost every participation they return with a prize and a medal. They have successfully participated in tournaments abroad.
