Freshman Hristo Hristov won the student power all-around “Strong Man” of the University of Ruse.

A total of 10 participants competed in the competition. The strongest student-athletes traditionally competed in four disciplines: tire flipping; throwing a pout; farm walk and car pull.

After a contested battle, the winner of the competition was Hristo Hristov, a freshman majoring in “Agricultural Techniques and Technologies”. Plamen Nikolaev, 3rd year, majoring in “Technology and Transport Management”, placed second. In third place is Bogomil Yordanov, also 3 first year, specialty “Law”.

The cheerleading squad of the university led by Janitsa Nikolova took care of the good mood and motivation of the athletes and the audience.

In the breaks between the power all-around rounds, the winners of the Spring Student Sports Games, traditional for the University of Ruse, were awarded.
