IV “Ivan Vazov” Elementary School celebrates Earth Week with a number of initiatives

Many initiatives were dedicated to Earth Day by the students and teachers of the Fourth Primary School “Ivan Vazov” in Targovishte.

Today the vases thoroughly cleaned the school yard, making it more welcoming and clean with the help of sacks and gloves.

Traditionally, during Earth Week, the school opens an exhibition of works created from waste materials.

Beautiful panels decorated the corridors of the school, colorful drawings appealed to keep nature clean, and children’s imagination created wonders from plastic bottles and cups, paper and cardboard packaging, etc.

The small students planted flowers in the flower pots and the paths in front of the school, together with their teachers.

A parade of costumes made from waste materials was held in the assembly hall. The primary school children demonstrated their incredible imagination and talent in choosing materials to create clothes from recyclable materials and were applauded by the school management and their classmates.

From the stage, the children appealed: “Let us all contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment, to preserve the life of the planet! Let us be responsible for the Earth, love it, protect it! The future of the Earth is in our hands. Dear Dear mothers, listen to our call! Keep our children’s playgrounds clean! Leave nature clean to us!”
