A retro camper of more than half a century will be shown at the camping festival in Burgas: Black Sea Lighthouse

Camper, produced in Switzerland in a single unit in the distant year 1969, will be shown at the festival exhibition in Burgas. The 1970s are considered the beginning of camping. The camper has a gasoline engine and its lighting is gas lamps. Its equipment has been fully preserved, including the dishes in it, and will be available for visitors to view.
For nostalgic fans of this type of holiday, a whole corner will be created with photographs and cards of campsites from the last century. The owner of the collection of valuable finds, collected over the years, is Zhana Ivanova from Tsarevo. She herself is a lover of camping and says that she wants to preserve for history the good memories of the time when the Black Sea was not so urbanized. Her collection was inspired by the summers in Michurin (as Tsarevo was formerly known) and was replenished at various forums and auctions. Photographs from another Black Sea pearl – Obzor – can be viewed in the retro corner.
The first edition of the festival “Explore the world” is organized with the cooperation of the Municipality of Burgas and the Ministry of Tourism. For two days – April 27 and 28, the latest trends in camping, caravanning and outdoor tourism will be presented on the territory of the Sea Station. Exhibitors of campers, tents, off-road vehicles, equipment and accessories for water sports and leisure activities, come to a place to kick off the camping season on the Black Sea.
Some of the Black Sea municipalities will present themselves with attractive presentations.
The festival area will be open both days from 9.30am to 9pm. Favorite Burgas performers will take care of the mood of the attendees, and on Saturday at 4 pm Dicho will perform on the stage of Morska Gara. There will be plenty of delicious food and beer, and the organizers are planning various games and activities for the attendees.
There is also a designated place in the festival for visitors with their own campers and caravans.
