At its opening, Todor Todorov from the historical museum in Kavarna noted that among the most striking exhibits in the collection, and the first one found in 2013 by archaeologists, was the killer ring. It is bronze and is supposed to have been used in the struggles for the throne of the Dobruja despotism in the 14th century. This ring was at the top of the “Wonders of Bulgaria” ranking in the discovery section. In 2017, a jade buckle of Chinese origin was also discovered, hinting to researchers about something much more significant. Thus, a year later, the great treasure with 957 objects of gold, silver and jewelry came to light. The exhibition will remain in the Preslav museum after the Easter holidays.
