Former employees of the DS: The administration of Varna should attract experts to its team | Moreto.net

The new city leadership needs to attract experts in the various fields. For the moment, the emphasis is on managerial experience without the necessary expert training. This opinion was expressed by the members of the newly formed Varna association “Sigurnost” made up of former employees of the State Security.

The ideas of the association were officially presented to the media in the maritime capital, a Moreto.net reporter reported.

The chairman of the organization is Marin Cherkezov, and his deputy is Pavlin Pavlov. Members are also Lyubomir Dimitrov, Ivan Ivanov.

“The main goal of the new association is to show the truth about what is happening in the city. We are all experts on various societal issues. “Once upon a time, the security services covered all life in the country, for better or for worse,” Cherkezov pointed out.

Pavlin Pavlov emphasized that the association is non-partisan and its activity is entirely in the public interest.

“We are concerned about the readiness of the city and the state to meet the challenges. Incompetence reigns in the political and municipal leadership in the city. We are concerned that in the new city administration there are people with managerial experience, but they do not have the necessary expert training. We have not yet seen this attraction of experts and it causes concern,” commented Pavlov.

According to him, there are enough experts in various fields in the city who can be involved in the actions of the municipal administration.

Things with the military situation in Ukraine are escalating, and very soon we will feel the effect of this more sensitively here as well. During the tourist season, in addition to many tourists, immigrants will also come to the city, which will exacerbate the situation, Pavlov said.

The former DS employee indicated that they plan to offer their expert assistance to the city management, as well as to propose a developed system for notification and for timely expert information. According to him, the reserve officers of the security services and the police, who have the knowledge to analyze and present timely data, can be included in the project.

“In our city right now, children and young people don’t know what to do if something happens. We intend to actively engage in this thing. How are you going to lead a city without knowing what’s really going on in it? Varna is a center of people from all over the world with all kinds of intentions, carrying out the tasks of their governments. Without a reliable service, things get tough. I am convinced that soon the city administration will understand that it cannot continue without expert help. The person in charge of security in the city must finally decide to form his own team. Without a public council in every area, very soon the people in the leadership will get stuck,” Pavlov said.
