The students of the College of Tourism presented Easter culinary delights

For the second year in a row, on the eve of the bright Easter holiday, the College of Tourism at the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”-Burgas holds a culinary bazaar.

The management of the College once again proved that its students are trained in sophisticated skills, imagination and incredible taste in cooking.

“Thanks to our students and our sponsors for the extremely rich meal. This is the second time we are attending this charity event on the eve of Easter. I am glad that all those present will be able to buy wonderful and delicious delights from here, which we will share with our loved ones on the holiday”, were the words of Prof. Dr. Hristo Bozov, MD, at the opening of the event.

He added that the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”-Burgas attaches great importance to the College of Tourism, and that within a year the educational building will look completely different, as the classrooms will be renovated.

Prof. Bozov noted that from the next academic year, three new bachelor’s majors will be opened in the College – “Hotel and Restaurant Management”, “Tourism and Healthy Eating” and “Tourism and Entrepreneurship”, which will surely include not only Bulgarian , but also foreign students.

“Everything we have achieved here has been built on the 57-year history of the College of Tourism. The educational unit maintains a high level of professionalism in the training of personnel. I believe that all together – partners and friends, we will continue the development of this institution, which is so significant for the tourism of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast”, said Assoc. Dr. Veselina Atanasova, who is the Director of the College of Tourism.

She invited the attendees to the perfectly organized culinary stage to enjoy every detail of the culinary delights created by the students of the College.

Guests of the celebration and participants in the bazaar were the academic leadership of the University, representatives of municipalities from the Burgas region and the non-governmental sector, industry experts, municipal councilors, numerous partners of the College from the tourism industry and its former graduates.

Sponsors of the event were “La Flor” restaurant – Burgas, “Dok 5” restaurant, “Bulgaria” Business Hotel, hotels from the “SOL-Nessebar Resort” chain, Jeanette Grand Market – Nessebar, “Metro” hypermarket – Burgas, hotel “Penelope Palace” – Pomorie, Hotel “Palm Beach” – Resort complex “Golden Sands”.

The funds raised from the bazaar will be used for a charitable purpose to support the education of students from the College of Tourism.
