Chanar must pass – Hear more

--

Chanar Yulianov from Targovishte is 4 years old, but he is not yet a walker. His peers already run, ride a bike, and he is in a stroller. The reason – spastic cerebral palsy.

The diagnosis came when he was 1.7 years old and like any mother, Sevdia Zafirova did not want to believe it.

She has already realized that it is true and there is nothing left but to fight her. In addition to the entire cooperative family, Čanar was lent a hand by artists with a heart from Targovishte. The last Art Bazaar in the city raised BGN 1,440 and gave it to his parents.

The funds will be invested in rehabilitation. One hour costs 40-50 BGN. For the family, who until now have managed everything on their own, this is a great support and they are truly grateful.

Sevdia is a former mayor of the village of Golyamo Sokolovo, but at the moment she has devoted all her time to her little boy. Her husband has been working abroad for two weeks, because without rehabilitation and operations, which will probably be abroad, they will not get out of the vicious circle of the disease.

Tsvetelina Georgieva talks to Čnar’s mother about illness, gratitude and hope.
