The chief state health inspector Assoc. Angel Kunchev admits that by the end of the week it is possible that the health authorities in our country will discuss the declaration of a national epidemic because of whooping cough patients, BNR reported.

And the number of infected continues to grow, with registered cases in more than half of the country.

There are cases of the disease in 17 regions, and the largest number is in the capital.

In front of bTV, Diyan Stamatov, who is the director of the capital’s 119th school, announced that for 10 days they have a class that is online because of 4 sick children.

“A very clear protocol is needed on how to react, ministers are not sending good signals to parents. Covid-19 has passed and everyone thinks that a new pandemic cannot possibly appear,” insisted Stamatov.
