Waterworks Vratsa reported its activities for last year

2023 is one of the most successful years for Vratsa “Water Supply and Sewerage” Company since its inception. VK-Vratsa oreports its activity for the past year at a general meeting of partners, the company announced.

During the year with own funds, under the operating program “Environmental “Environment” and the State Fund “Agriculture”, the Vratsa Waterworks replaced 118.7 km of water pipes, built a sewage network with a total length of 22.9 km, repaired two of the treatment plants.

Own funds invested during the year for the rehabilitation of water supply systems and reduction of water losses, as well as for the construction of sewage systems, amount to BGN 15,999,436.

In addition, BGN 55,532,114 were fully paid during the year under the operational program “Environment” and BGN 5,776,883 under the project “Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the water supply network of the villages of Malorad, Borovan municipality and Lipnitsa, Mizia municipality”. The investments made significantly exceed the mandatory volume of annual investments that Vratsa Waterworks must make according to the signed Contract with the Association for Water Supply and Sewerage in Vratsa.

The manager of the company, Angel Prestojski, emphasized that in the current year, ViK Vratsa continues to fulfill its priorities for improving the quality and efficiency of the services offered by the company.
