Preparations for Lazaritsa began in the “Zornitsa” kindergarten. The children from the 4th age group “Stars” decided to teach the younger ones from the 2nd age group “Candies” how to make a decoration for the girls’ holiday. In a large basket, each child drew and placed their own patterned eggs.

Tsvetoslava Kanovska, the teacher of the older ones, told the children about the upcoming folk custom. She reminded the girls to get up early on Saturdays and go around neighbors and relatives with Lazarus songs, calling for health and prosperity.

Earlier in the day, the boys and girls from the “Zvezdichki” group, dressed in folk costumes, visited the fourth A class, with classmate Lyudmila Yordanova, at Stoyan Zaimov Secondary School to congratulate them on the upcoming holiday. As always, the fourth graders were very happy to see their kindergarten teachers Tsvetoslava Kanovska and Irena Yankova. The “stars” sang to them, and in the end they all got on a horse.
