A serious accident with a victim occurred on the Ruse-Silistra road – in the area of ​​the junction for the village of Srebarna, the police reported.

The incident happened this morning around 10:00.

Two cars collided, and the driver of one car died on the spot. Two women – driver and passenger were transported to the hospital in Silistra.

Traffic in the section is closed, and a bypass route has been introduced through the villages of Ishirkovo, Yordanovo, Dobrotitsa and Sitovo. Road police teams are on the scene.
