The warning is for 12 regions in our country
A yellow code for intense rainfall and thunderstorms has been announced for 12 regions of Western Bulgaria.
A cold atmospheric front will pass through the country. It will be mostly cloudy. Rain showers are expected, which will be widespread during the day. In the afternoon hours in many places they will be accompanied by thunder. In mountainous areas, the quantities will be significant. There are also conditions for hail.
A weak, moderate north-westerly wind will blow during the day. The minimum temperatures will be between 7 and 12°, and the maximum – from 10 to 13 in the western regions and up to 20-22 in the eastern regions. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 7°, and the maximum – around 11°.
What will the weather be like on Palm Sunday and Easter?
In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy with rain showers, in the Rhodope region – accompanied by thunder. At an altitude above 2000 m, the rain will change to snow. A moderate north-westerly, south-westerly wind will blow in the highest parts.
It will be mostly cloudy along the Black Sea. In the afternoon there will be showers accompanied by thunder. A light and moderate north-westerly wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be from 16 along the northern coast to 21 along the southern coast. The temperature of the sea water is about 13°. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 points.
