The Municipality of Vidin signed an administrative contract for the provision of a grant for the replacement of old heating devices with alternative ones
The Municipality of Vidin signed an administrative contract for the provision of a grant for the implementation of the Project “For cleaner air in the Municipality of Vidin”, “For cleaner air!”, under priority 5 “Air” of the “Environment” Program 2021-2027
The policy for cleaner air of the Municipality of Vidin is long-term and aims to solve the problem of deteriorating atmospheric air quality by reducing the emissions of fine dust particles caused by household heating – one of the main sources of environmental pollution. The current project is a natural continuation of what was achieved by the implementation of the previous one, which was passed with extremely high interest on the part of the citizens.
It is expected that the submission of applications will begin in June this year, for which the Municipality of Vidin will inform the interested parties further. The estimated number of households that will benefit from new ecological alternative devices is 3,782.
The value of the project is BGN 23,452,193.46 (100% BFP), of which BGN 19,934,364.45 is from the European Regional Development Fund and BGN 3,517,829.01 is national co-financing from the state budget of the Republic of Bulgaria.
