The Mayor of Razgrad Dobrin Dobrev today signed with the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Eng. Violeta Koritarova 3 agreements for the financing of objects with funds from the state budget under the Investment Program for Municipal Projects for a total value of BGN 4,352,858.41 excluding VAT, the press service of the local administration.
The project to repair the road from the railway crossing from Razgrad to Dyankovo, past the landfill to the railway crossing to Jasenovets, is worth BGN 2,429,452 excluding VAT. The funds are for: design, author’s supervision, construction supervision and construction and repair works along the three-kilometer section of the municipal road.
The second project is also connected with the restoration of road infrastructure – for the reconstruction of “Strandja” Street in Razgradi the adjacent intersections – third section. The value of the project is BGN 1,048,407. without VAT. This is the last unrepaired section of the street: from the intersection with “April Uprising” Blvd., its length is 648 m.
The regional ministry also allocates funds for the implementation of an investment project in the working phase for the reconstruction of the existing waste water treatment plant in Razgrad. The planned funds are BGN 875,000 without VAT, they are for design, copyright and construction supervision. Based on the project, a source for financing construction and repair works will be sought. The treatment plant has been in operation since 1974 and does not provide continuous and reliable wastewater treatment.
The press service of the local administration reminds that the seven projects of Razgrad Municipality, included in the Law on the State Budget for 2024, have a total value of BGN 43,389,600. At the end of March, funding was allocated for the first of them – for the repair of municipal road Razgrad – Blagoevo / to the border with Popovo municipality in the amount of BGN 1,012,800.
The remaining three are for the repair and completion of the bed of the Beli Lom river in the regulation of the city of Razgrad”; Continuation of Dunav St. from St. Kliment St. to the intersection of Bulgaria Blvd. and April Uprising Blvd. and construction of Dunav St. in the section from Parkova St. to St. Clement”.
