Seventh-graders from “Vasil Levski” Primary School in Lovech visited today the National Press Club of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency (BTA) in the city. BTA correspondent Daniela Balabanova told them about the journalist’s work and the challenges of the profession.
She introduced the students to the history and mission of the agency, as well as to the work of the BTA press clubs in the country, which are a place for communication between the media and representatives of business, politics, culture, and sports.
The fact that BTA has a press club on Antractida also caused great interest among the students.
The children asked who had been guests in the press club so far, how a journalist chooses what to write about and what education is needed for this profession.
The boys and girls also looked at the various issues of LIK magazine, which BTA publishes.
Balabanova is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Tourism Journalists and Writers – ABUJET. On the occasion of the national campaign “Walk of Books”, in whose initiatives the hunting school also participates, she read to the seventh-graders her travelogue about Egypt – “A Tale of Pyramids and Temples, Desert and Sea”, published in the publication of the “Magic of Egypt” Association. .
