Ivan Landzhev lit the fire at the “Southern Spring” literary days in Haskovo

“Southern Spring” literary days were officially opened in Haskovo a few minutes ago with the traditional lighting of the fire of the national competition for debut literature in front of the “Ivan Dimov” theater. This year, the honor of doing it went to Ivan Landzhev, who is also among the laureates of the literary festival in Haskovo since 2011

“I owe a lot to this recognition. This contest has always been very special to me, because one cannot win a debut award twice,” said Langev.

The mayor of Haskovo, Stanislav Dechev, welcomed the participants in the 52nd edition of the Literary Days:

“I am happy that in the next few days Haskovo will once again be a scene of youth, creativity and the strong Bulgarian word. I am excited that today’s debutantes, who will take their first steps in literature, are actually part of the Bulgarian classics of tomorrow. So they will remember our beautiful city with their first steps and come here again and again to light the fire of “Southern Spring” together.
