27. 04. 2024 at 17:00 Premiere of Patricia Simeonova’s video “The Fog”
The event will be held in the “Peyo K. Yavorov” Regional Library – Burgas in the “Acad. Konstantin Petkanov” Conference Hall on April 27, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
A magical fairy tale, created by the hands and imagination of the famous visual artist Krasimir Marchev, who is the director, author of the costumes and scenography. A digital exhibition of Panayot Simeonov will be held as part of the event.

On 27.04. from 7 p.m. Political thriller – short film

You may not be interested in politics, but she is interested in you. This kind of epitaph is at the center of the “Political Thriller” program.
The audience will also be able to see the Bulgarian film “The Master of the House”.
Another highlight is the animated documentary “The Foreigner” by director and screenwriter Ani Antonova.

“EASTER BELL” performance at the PAN Theater, realized with the support of the Municipality of Burgas and Regional Library “Peyo K. Yavorov”

Thanks to the “Easter Bell” performance, children have the opportunity through games and competitions to become familiar with the cycle of Easter holidays – from Lazarus Day and Palm Sunday, through Holy Week, to Easter and St. George’s Day. The songs are thematic, specially written for each of the holidays. In addition to games in which children will decorate lazarkas, prepare Easter eggs, compete with them, and do tricks related to the holidays.
Special raffle with one big and 20 smaller prizes.

Open invitation: Poetry writing course for young people in Burgas
The “Elizabeth Kostova” Foundation, together with the “Peyo Yavorov” Regional Library, invites participation in a poetry writing and editing course for youth aged 15-18 from the city of Burgas. Hosted by Ivan Dimitrov and Stefan Ivanov and with the special participation of Radostina Tsenova from the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation. The course is free of charge and will be held from May 11 to 15 at the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library, Burgas.
