Maestro Stefan Diomov met with children from schools and kindergartens in Veliko Tarnovo

--

Composer Stefan Diomov, publisher Rumiana Emanuilidou, vocal teacher Valentina Surgucheva-Todorova and poetess Gina Dundova-Pancheva met with students and children from kindergartens in Veliko Tarnovo. Through poetry, music and drawings, they created a celebration dedicated to the recently celebrated Earth Day and World Book and Copyright Day.
Let’s talk about the magic of life, because when poetry meets music, a beautiful song is born and then the world becomes different, said poetess Gina Dundova-Pancheva, who introduced the children to her work.
Besides being a musician, I’m also a traveler. I have traveled around the globe several times, I have visited more than 80 countries, and do you know what I found out – that the most beautiful country in the world is called Bulgaria, said Diomov and urged children to love Veliko Tarnovo because it is unusual, exotic, clean and friendly. He told the children how during his travels he managed to photograph the smallest and largest bird in the world – the hummingbird and the condor. All participants in the meeting sang the famous hits of the composer, who said that the greatest joy for an author is to have children sing his songs. The deputy mayor Neiko Genchev, who last year entered the world music ranking Country Top 40 with the cover of Maestro Diomov’s song “Hello, how are you friend?”, gave his welcome. It has the English title “Hello My Friend” and is performed by Genchev (under the creative pseudonym Barney Eswill) in a duet with the young country star from Nashville Sarah Haralson.
The meeting took place a few days after the successful premieres of the musical “Hello, how are you, friend?” with songs by Maestro Diomov, at the National Music Theater “Stefan Makedonski” in Sofia. The event was part of the “Foyer of the autographed book” initiative, which is organized by the Regional Library “P. R. Slaveikov” with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
