Parents and alumni of PGSAG once again entered the classrooms

Parents and former graduates of the “Angel Popov” Vocational High School for Construction, Architecture and Geodesy visited the school in “Class Hour” to present the professions of construction technician, surveyor and interior designer, as well as the various opportunities for realization on the labor market in front of newly entered eighth graders.
The initiative at PGSAG “Angel Popov” is part of the activities included in the campaign of the Regional Department of Education – Veliko Tarnovo, for career guidance of students “I’m thinking about my future”.
In the 8th grade, majoring in “Interior Design”, Janet Hristova was a guest, who talked about her studies at PGSAG “Angel Popov”, the special subjects they will study, about the choice of the designer’s profession and the future realization.
Eng. Terzieva, grandmother of Hristiyan Terziev from the same class, was a guest of the eighth-graders from the “Transport Construction” specialty, who introduced them to the essence of the profession, the possibilities and perspectives as future construction technicians. He introduced them to the process and intricacies of building a new road, which piqued the students’ interest.
Deyan Bakalov, also a former graduate and parent of a high school student in the 8th grade, presented the surveyor’s profession. He told them about the activities that a surveyor performs – calculates elevations and coordinates of geodetic points, takes geodetic photographs and makes plans and maps. Performs cadastre activities, tracing works and control of construction sites.
In the 8th grade, majoring in “Construction and Architecture”, Emil Petkov was a guest, who introduced the students to the profession of a construction technician.
