Instead of becoming the policeman he imagined he wanted to be, he chooses to be one of those people who can play anyone, even the lawman. From the school in Simeonovo to the plane landing in London, Radostin Radev walks the path of self-awareness and eternal improvement in pursuit of his passion – acting.

The British theater school trumps any attempt at anything other than acting. The world of Shakespeare, his language and the ability to create the rhythm of life on stage attract Radostin so much that today he is an actor and producer who wants to be part of the wave that will take Bulgarian cinema to the world map of the seventh art.

“If we want to have a place in world cinema, that should be our goal. And not so much that our productions are made only here, for a closed circle, to look at some statistics – who watches this show of ours, what age they are, yes we’re targeting to keep him on this channel the most while he’s doing the dishes. That’s why reality shows start. And why shouldn’t our goal be to create something that’s so catchy that the dishes will have to wait?” Cinema with words” Radostin Radev. He is convinced that there are ways to achieve this effect, we just have to strive to find them.

Together with Julian Kostov and Kaloyan Minev, they create a film story that tells about human trafficking – a painful but important topic for our society. The film left the audience speechless during its premiere at the Odeon cinema, and according to Radostin Radev, these problems should be talked about. In this case, the cinema is a very good forum for this. With his means of expression, however, we can increasingly describe the Bulgarian history, which is incomparable in terms of facts and events. However, Radev is of the opinion that we should not neglect cinema, which is for entertainment.

“In the cinema, we are transported to a completely different world, and that is precisely why it represents a huge attraction for me – explains the actor and producer. – In my opinion, it is important to stay in the game.”

Radostin believes that there are no small roles and it all depends on this specific skill of a person to reincarnate into different characters, with all his possible emotions.

“This is acting – drawing with the help of emotions. These are the colors we use, from them come the nuances,” he adds.
