PP-DB want early release of Rosen Zhelyazkov – Bulgaria

The parliamentary group of “Continuing the Change – Democratic Bulgaria” imports request for ahead of time exemption of the Speaker of the National Assembly Rosen Zhelyazkovthis was announced by the coalition in a message to the media, and as motives pointed out his overall behavior as head of this institution.

The PP-DB stated that they had established that the Speaker of the Parliament “abuses power and authority, and works in the interest of the GERB-DPS political bloc”.

As specific reasons for their decision they listed several aspects – violation in the procedure under early termination of the mandate to the manager of the National Health Insurance Fund – Stanimir Mikhailov; systemic abuse with the right according to Art. 48, para. 5 of the Civil Code and violations when conducting parliamentary control according to Art. 105 of the Civil Code.

“Continuing the Change – Democratic Bulgaria” will not stop fighting for Bulgaria to become a normal European country. GERB receives a clear message that it cannot stop the working institutions that the entire Bulgarian people expect,” added PP-DB.
