Bethany Hughes is a historian, television presenter, author and professor. The famous British woman arrives in Plovdiv to follow the footsteps of the Revival houses perched on the hill that shelters the Old Town. At the beginning of May, she and her team come under the hills to film another episode of the series “Treasures with Bethany Hughes” for Viasat History, Maritza learned from her sources.

Bethany Hughes is an Oxford graduate and Cambridge professor. She was born on May 14, 1967 in London. She won a scholarship to study at the prestigious private school Notting Hill and Ealing High School, which has a rich history and is an all-girls school. It is entered with an interview and an entrance exam. He also received a scholarship for his studies at the college “St. Hilda” at Oxford University. Today she is a research fellow at King’s College London and a lecturer in Cambridge at the Institute for Continuing Education.
