A yellow code for potentially dangerous weather and heavy rains has been announced in 12 regions of the country – Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, part of Stara Zagora (Pavel Banya, Kazanlak, Nikolaevo, Maglizh and Gurkovo), Lovech, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Sofia Region, Sofia City , Kyustendil, Pernik, Blagoevgrad and part of Smolyan (Chepelare, Smolyan, Dospat, Devin and Borino).
The minimum temperatures will be between 7° and 12°, and the maximum – from 10°-13° in the western regions to 20°-22° in the eastern ones.
It will be mostly cloudy along the Black Sea. In the afternoon there will be showers accompanied by thunder. A light and moderate north-westerly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be from 16° along the northern coast to 21° along the southern coast.
In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy with rain showers, in the Rhodope region accompanied by thunder. Above 2000 meters above sea level, the rain will change to snow. A moderate north-westerly, south-westerly wind will blow in the highest parts. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 9°, at 2000 meters – around 3°.
