A disaster closed part of the main road Sofia – Varna. A reader of “Focus” reported the incident.
The accident happened shortly before the junction for Strazhitsa and the village of Kesarevo. There are police teams at the site to regulate traffic.
The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Veliko Tarnovo specified that a car and a truck collided. The incident happened around 4:00 this morning.
“According to initial information, the second driver of the truck was injured, with a fractured arm. An inspection is being carried out at the scene of the accident,” explains Mariyana Hristova, spokesperson for the OD of the Ministry of the Interior.
Police teams are redirecting the cars along a detour route through the villages of Moravitsa and Nikolaevo.
