Students will “watch a trial” at the open day at the Administrative Court in Smolyan – From the day

As part of the “Open Door Day” information campaign, the Administrative Court in Smolyan will open its doors today from 3:00 p.m. to citizens, media and institutions.

The aim of the initiative is to popularize the activities of the court, increase the legal culture of the citizens and in connection with the Educational Program “The Judiciary – informed choice and civil trust. Open courts and prosecutor’s offices 2023-2024”.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about the history, activities and structure of the court, to see the courthouse building. A simulative administrative-penal trial will be held based on an actual case at two levels, in which students from SU “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” Smolyan will take part for another year, who will take on the role of judges, prosecutors, lawyers and legal consultants.
