Miroslava Dragiicheva-Radonova was elected president of the “Lions Club Veliko Tarnovo Yantar” for the term 2024-2025. This became clear at the annual meeting organized by the club a few days ago. The position of vice president is entrusted to the director of the Regional Library “P.R. Slaveykov” Assoc. Dr. Kalina Ivanova, and Assoc. Dr. Miglena Petkova, Deputy Director of the Regional History Museum – Veliko Tarnovo, will be the secretary of the non-governmental organization. During the new management mandate, the position of advisor will be held by Pavlina Vladeva.
“Lions Club Veliko Tarnovo Yantar” is one of the most active charitable non-governmental organizations in Veliko Tarnovo. And some of the initiatives that have become traditional for the club are the Autumn charity ball and the spring charity concert “From the children of Veliko Tarnovo for the children of Veliko Tarnovo”. The funds collected from them are donated for the purchase of medical equipment for the hospitals in Veliko Tarnovo.
