Final: 23 parties and 11 coalitions have submitted documents for participation in the elections in June – Bulgaria

A total of 23 parties and 11 coalitions have filed in The Central Election Commission (CEC) application for registration to participate in the elections for members of European Parliament (EP) from Bulgaria and/or for people’s representatives, announced the CEC.

The deadline for submitting documents expired today at 5:00 PM, and their intake began last Monday, April 15.

From tomorrow, April 25, the CEC begins accepting documents for the registration of initiative committees for the nomination of independent candidates for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria. The deadline for accepting documents is April 29.

Documents for registration of candidate lists for members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria, the CEC will also start accepting applications from tomorrow, with the deadline for accepting documents being May 7.

Tomorrow the CEC starts accepting documents for admission or registration of parties and coalitions for participation in new elections for mayors and municipal councilors on June 23. The deadline for accepting documents is May 8.

Acceptance of the documents will take place in the building of the National Assembly, “Knyaz Alexander I” square No. 1, in the lobby, “Largo” entrance, and in view of the upcoming holidays and weekends, the Central Election Commission will accept documents on 1, 2, 4 and May 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On May 3 and 5, the CEC will not accept documents.
