They discuss prohibition for electric scooters in many places in Ruse, including parks, gardens and intersections. The reason is the series of accidentand in the city. The offer is on municipal councilors from GERB.

According to the mayor Svetlozar Simeonov, the difference is that GERB wants to introduce an additional paragraph to specify which vehicles are driven electrically and where on the territory of Ruse Municipality they can be driven.
“Control will be carried out by the Municipal Police after the regulation is changed. This means there will be fines“, assured Simeonov.
Stoyan Hristov from GERB announced that the deadline for public discussion is one month and it is assumed that the proposal will be accepted by the beginning of summer.
