High school students combined April 24 – Earth Day and the “Walk of Books” initiative

With a lot of inspiration, high school students from PGDVA “Yosif Vondrak” combined April 24 – Earth Day and the Walk of Books initiative to raise and encourage everyone’s interest in readingand the books. Both causes are extremely important to the transmission of spirituality and to our survival on Planet Earth. For the first time, the young readers of the 10th grade received their reading cards in the newly opened “140 Years of Joseph Vondrak” school library.

With excitement and sincere interest, they unfolded the books, read aloud, shared thoughts with each other and after a long hesitation made their choice of Bulgarian or foreign literature. In the next recess, they were reading “Tobacco” and unfolding colorful comics. Schoolit shines with drawings by the talents of the “Interior Design” specialty on books selected by them. The literature teachers set a personal example in the impromptu corner to share a favorite book. On Earth Day, everyone joined in creating a common message for the protection of our common home through a word game created by Mrs. Detelina Dragancheva – a biology and chemistry teacher. Once again, messages from the heart and soul found their way to everyone who touched them!
