A planning conference for the international naval exercise “Breeze” was held in Burgas

In the Military Club in Burgas, the main planning conference for the national naval exercise with international participation “Briz 2024” was held.

The Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces, Captain I rank Vanyo Musinski, opened the conference with a brief retrospective of the exercises so far and wished fruitful work to the participants.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Headquarters of the Naval Forces, the Flotilla of combat and auxiliary ships, the types of armed forces and representatives of the naval forces of NATO countries that have declared participation in the exercise – Great Britain, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Romania, the United States USA and Turkey. The representatives of Georgia, Greece, Latvia and MARCOM participated via video conference.

The participants were grouped into four syndicates – maritime operations, interdepartmental cooperation, special operations and diving activities, within which the possibilities of working out specific episodes of the exercise related to both the actions of the forces at sea and the joint actions of the Navy of Republic of Bulgaria with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
