In a total of 234 sections, eligible voters from the Vidin region will vote in the elections for members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria and for people’s representatives, which will take place on June 9. This became known from a decision of the Regional Election Commission (REC) – Vidin on the formation of the uniform numbers of the electoral sections in the fifth electoral region, published on the website of the commission.
By orders of the mayors, the electoral divisions were formed on the territory of each municipality. Voting will take place in 18 sections in Belogradchik, in Boinitsa – in five, in Bregovo – in 12, in Vidin – in 120, in Gramada – in nine, in Dimovo – in 24, in Kula – in 12, in Makresh and Novo Selo – at seven, in Ruzhintsi and Chuprene – at ten.
RIC – Vidin has determined the number of members of the sectional election commissions (SEC), and in the sections with up to 500 voters, including the commissions, there will be seven members, and those with more than 500 voters – nine.
With another decision, RIC – Vidin accepted the distribution of seats in the SEC and their leadership among the parties and coalitions. The members of the SIC are in total 1829, of which 705 are reserves.
For BTA, the chairman of RIC – Vidin, Daniel Boyanov, specified that he expects the number of SIKs on the territory of the electoral district to reach around 240 together with the mobile sections.
