Students from the Science and Mathematics High School “Acad. Boyan Petkanchin” started today the campaign “Easter for everyone” to help people in need from Haskovo municipality. In this connection, a charity bazaar was organized today in the school lobby. Homemade cookies, pecan pie, cupcakes, cookies and other delicacies were displayed on tables. The students had the opportunity to buy some of the products, and the money was collected in a box.

The initiative was taken by four students – Ilian Angelov, Rumen Hristozov, Bozhidar Dimolarev and Dimitar Stefanov from the 8th grade with class teacher Veselin Ivanova. The action is supported by the “Lyuben Karavelov” elementary school in Haskovo, where donation boxes have been placed.

The charity event of PMG-Haskovo students continues on April 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Kaufland hypermarket. During the next two days, there will be volunteers there to collect aid in carts. Those who wish can donate packaged food and products.

With the funds and food, people in need will be helped – the elderly, the poor, those without relatives. For this purpose, the high school students requested information from the “Social Assistance” Directorate.

“We want to make vulnerable people happy for the upcoming holidays and show them that they are not forgotten,” said the PMG students. The food and products will be distributed to those in need during the next week.
