Digital microscopes in a kindergarten in Vratsa : Konkurent.bg

“Unity, Creativity Beauty” is the garden that features digital microscopes, light-up boards with fluorescent pens, small light-up boards and more digital technology. “All this is a project funded by the Erasmus program. Teacher qualification was also part of the activities. In Split, Croatia, we were with colleagues and it helped us a lot to introduce innovative methods, alongside the traditional ones, in working with children. We can we boast that we have materials and digital educational resources that are not available in the country,” said Elena Kirilova, director of the Vratsa garden.

At the special event, the results of the project were presented with the active participation of the children. Guests were more than fifty teachers from Vratsa, Vidin, Montana and Pleven. Petya Dolapchiev, deputy mayor of the municipality of Vratsa, Loreta Koleva, head of the Vratsa RUO, were also part of the guests and were impressed by the presented results. Today was an extremely pleasant experience. I congratulate the team of “Edinstvo Tvorchestvo Krasota” kindergarten, which works in an innovative way for the development of children. We are talking about key competencies, and the beginning is made in kindergarten. You successfully combine traditional approaches with digital methods, said Loretta Koleva. Representatives of the municipality of Mezdra, of RUO Pleven, also supported and congratulated what was achieved.

The children drew, created, calculated, practiced the Bulgarian language, got to know insects – and all this hand in hand with the new technologies.
