For another year, the playground in front of the “Diana” hall in the city of Yambol brought together children and adults who wanted to see the award-winning works of the young artists who participated in the Regional Stage of the International Children’s Drawing Competition “I saw the trouble with my eyes”. The contest reflects the knowledge of adolescents related to the risks of disasters and fires, as well as the ways of behaving and acting in them. Its purpose is to create interest in the profession of the firefighter and rescuer, to develop empathy for human problems, willingness to help and desire to participate in volunteer activities!
This year, over 200 students from the first to the twelfth grade took part with their works in the district stage of the “I saw the trouble with my own eyes” competition.
The young artists impressed the jury with skillfully and realistically recreated sensations related to various disaster situations.
The evaluation of the works was assisted by the professional opinion of the artists Mariana Kapralova and Kolyo Indjov.
The awards to the awarded artists were presented by the regional governor Mrs. Bilyana Kavaldzhieva, Commissioner Kolyo Gyaurov – director of the RDPBZN, Mr. Nikola Kostadinov – deputy. regional administrations and ch. Inspector Ivan Dinev – Head of the “Preventive and Control Activity” sector.
