Registration for participation in the 23rd national competition-festival of the old town song and hit “With the songs of Ari” has started, which will be held in Haskovo on June 8.
The event, which every year brings the old city songs back to new life, this summer will be held on the stage of the theater, since the usual place, but which it takes place – community center “Zarya”, at that time is under renovation.
And in this edition, the leading criteria for the jury’s evaluations will be not only the musical-artistic qualities of the songs, their performance and artistic presentation, but also whether the participants have included a song by Asparukh Leshnikov in their repertoire.
Only non-professional groups, chamber ensembles, trios,
and individual contractors. Groups must be up to 16 people, including the accompanying person. Only live performances are allowed. The participants present themselves with 2 songs each.
After the competition is over, the best performers will be included in the Gala Concert. Cash prizes are provided for the winners in the various categories.
