A pregnant woman is hospitalized with a life-threatening condition in the intensive care unit of UMBAL – Ruse after a road transport accident, the police report.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. in the village of Semerdzhievo, along “Yastrebovsko Shose” Street, at the intersection formed by “Vetovsko Shose” Street. Despite the presence of a “B-2” road sign, a 57-year-old man entered the intersection with his BMW car, not missing a Nissan Qashqai passenger car moving on the right-of-way /with a “B-3” road sign , driven by a 34-year-old man- Two cars collided in the area of the intersection. The pregnant woman, who was traveling in the front of the Nissan, was taken by an emergency team to UMBAL – Ruse, where she was placed in the intensive care unit with a life-threatening condition. An on-duty police task force inspected the scene. The reasons for the accident are clarified in the course of the initiated pre-trial proceedings. The drivers tested negative for alcohol and drugs.
