A 10-kilometer queue of traffic lights forms on “Danube Bridge 2” in the direction of Romania. The blockade of the border was reported by a viewer of NOVA, who has been standing in the traffic jam since 5 o’clock in the morning on Thursday.

“I am 10 kilometers before the checkpoint itself. There is a huge traffic jam that has also blocked the car lane. I called 112. The person on duty told me: “We know, but there is nothing we can do.” This is what Kiril Stoychev, who has been at Danube Bridge 2 for hours, told on the air of “Hello, Bulgaria”.

According to him, all the trucks “didn’t move for hours”. “There is no incident. If there was, an ambulance, a police car should have passed during that time. A patrol car passed in the direction of Vidin. I tried to stop her, but the police did not react at all,” the man claimed.

It turns out that unscrupulous truck drivers overtook the convoy and entered the passenger car lane. Thus, they blocked traffic in both lanes from the Bulgarian side in the direction of Romania.
