On the sidelines of the parliament, PP-DB co-chair Kiril Petkov responded to the accusations that came from GERB-SDS and DPS.
“First of all, I want to congratulate the colleagues from Vazrazhdane, the colleagues from PP-DB and BSP for the new coalition, together with ITN. They make it very easy for me that there will be no more questions – neither about DPS, nor about PP, nor about assemblies” , said GERB leader Boyko Borisov.
DPS Chairman Delyan Peevski also commented:
“Today there is a coalition of poodles, all the guys bought, but there was a big disarray. They can steal easily, bring back the head of the “Customs”. But they underestimated the people. There are elections, sociological agencies show the results”.
Kiril Petkov answered them:
“This act was not against the man Rosen Zhelyazkov, but against the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rosen Jhelyazkov, who systematically violated the rules of the parliament more than once, and unfortunately, each time for one reason – when he carried out the orders of Delyan Peevski and Boyko Borisov, who called on him from the first row’.
“Borisov and Peevski do not own this country, and if they want GERB to have a Euro-Atlantic direction, they will have to get rid of their dependence on DPS and Mr. Peevski,” he was categorical.
